Grab Singapore is focused on addressing challenges in lending and look for motivated iOS engineers for its lending mobile team. We're looking for individuals and contribute to multiple programmes. As part of the Lending you'll contribute to the driver, consumer and merchant platforms (apps) alongside stakeholders from design, analytics, product & backend teams to deliver a consistent lending experience agnostic of country/product/user segments.

You'll have the chance to contribute to the flagship Grab app, engaging directly with users to understand their challenges and how our solutions can support their professional lives. Initiative in problem identification is crucial for our team members, who has the appropriate mindset and skills to address these challenges.Our team operates with advanced technologies like SwiftUI and Reactive programming. We prioritise architectural integrity and welcome developers suggestions for new mobile approaches and technologies, while also emphasising their important components within the team.

You will be reporting to Engineering Manager II. This role is based in Singapore.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Build Magical Mobile Experiences Use your ADR superpowers to design and deliver sleek, features that make users go Whoa, that's smooth!
2. Champion Clean, Elegant Code Write maintainable, testable code that follows best practices-bonus if your data structures would make CS professors tear up with pride.
3. Review with Purpose and Positivity Participate in code reviews like a true team player-giving feedback that's insightful, constructive, and sprinkled with good vibes.
4. Be the Reliability Rockstar Take ownership of monitoring and alerting setups, ensuring your features perform in production (cape optional).
5. Communicate Like a Pro Translate complex tech concepts into simple language for your team and stakeholders-no magic spells required, just clarity and empathy

Qualifications

The Essential Skills You Will Need

1. ADR Experience At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and scaling ADR applications.
2. Solid CS Fundamentals understanding of computer science principles, from OOP and algorithms to scalable system design.
3. Mastery of Modern ADR Practices Comfortable with test-driven development (TDD), reactive programming, and dependency injection frameworks.
4. Architecture Expertise Familiar with architectural patterns to keep things modular, testable, and scalable.
