Senior Software Engineer - Golang

Our client is a fintech building the infrastructure that moves data reliably at scale. If you want to be part of a Regional business that operates lean fast, and product-led — engineers here own outcomes, not tickets.

We're looking to identify talent with strong system design, architecture, structuring good code, can identify what great vs average code structures look like.

What you'll own

• Design, build, and own backend services — you're accountable for their reliability, performance, and maintainability, not just the code you commit
• Make architectural decisions in your domain and drive technical direction for your squad without needing to be told what to build
• Ship to production continuously — we review PRs same-day and value velocity over process
• Raise the bar around you: mentor mid-level engineers, run design reviews, and push back on bad technical calls with evidence and alternatives
• Own your services in production, including on-call for your area

What we're looking for

• Total 5+ years of software engineering experience for a Product or service catering to customers beit Businesses, consumers, governments etc. with a track record of owning a service or system end to end.
• Backend Technology: Go, Python or equivelent
• Front tend technology: JS
• Solid AWS and distributed-systems fundamentals — you've designed for scale and can talk through the trade-offs you made
• You've made architectural decisions the team actually adopted, and you can explain why
• Clear communicator — you can articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
