Senior Software Engineer (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Lead .NET & Power Platform Developer to spearhead the development and delivery of a large-scale Security Management ERP project. This role involves full-stack application development, cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure, and integration with Power Platform tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead technical initiatives to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

. Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of ERP modules using .NET Core, .NET 6, ASP.NET, C#, Web API, Angular, and Azure services.

. Architect and deliver robust Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

. Design and implement secure, scalable, and cloud-native architectures including Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault.

. Manage and mentor a team of developers, QA engineers, and analysts, ensuring code quality, project progress, and adherence to best practices.

. Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate complex business needs into technical designs and solutions.

. Optimize SQL Server performance through efficient stored procedures, queries, and indexing strategies.

. Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Azure DevOps and version control systems like Git.

. Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.

. Lead production support, BAU activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

. Maintain comprehensive documentationfor system design, configuration, and development workflows.

. Drive Proof of Concept (PoC)initiatives to explore new technologies and propose modern solution enhancements.

. Ensure strict compliance with security policies, governance frameworks, and enterprise coding standards.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

. Min 10 years of experience in enterprise software development with strong architectural and leadership capabilities.

. Expertise in .NET Framework (3.5-4.8), .NET Core (3.1+), C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and WinForms.

. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services: Azure Function Apps, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and App Services.

. Advanced skills in Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, Power Virtual Agent.

. Proficient in Angular 11+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for dynamic, responsive front-end development.

. Strong database experience with SQL Server (2012-2019) and NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB).

. Solid understanding of WCF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, LINQ, and RESTful APIs.

. Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development, using tools like Azure DevOps, TFS/VSTS, and Git.

. Experience working in Agile environmentswith geographically distributed teams.

. Lead the security-centric ERP transformation for a mission-critical project.

. Work with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies in a dynamic enterprise environment.

. Collaborate with a skilled and diverse team of professionals driving digital innovation.

. Preferred Microsoft PL-100: Power Platform App Maker certified

. Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate or Architect certifications is mandatory
