Senior Software Engineer - C++

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions used in surveillance, command &control, radar, communication, and other defence technology platforms.

Responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using modern C++.

. Develop software components for real-time and mission-critical systems.

. Participate in software architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.

. Translate system and customer requirements into software specifications and technical solutions.

. Implement multi-threaded, high-performance, and scalable software modules.

. Develop and optimize software for Linux and/or embedded environments.

. Integrate software with hardware devices, sensors, communication systems, and network interfaces.

. Perform software verification, validation, debugging, and performance tuning.

. Produce technical documentation, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

. Support software integration, factory acceptance testing(FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and deployment activities.

. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

. Ensure compliance with software quality, cybersecurity, functional safety, and defence standards.

. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during project execution.

Essential Requirements:

. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.

. Minimum 5 years of software development experience using C++.

. Strong proficiency in:

. C++11/14/17(or later)

. Object-OrientedDesign (OOD)

. DesignPatterns

. DataStructures and Algorithms

. Experience with Linux-based development environments

. Solid understanding of:

. Multi-threading and concurrency

. Inter-process communication (IPC)

. Networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)

. Software lifecycle and version control systems

. Experience using Git, GitLab, SVN or equivalent configuration management tools.

. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

. Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
