Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our agiledevelopment team buildingthenext generation of ourCustomer Identity Access Management Platform. As a seniormember of our team, you'll playa key role in developingfoundational servicesthat power 150+ Autodesk desktop, mobile, web applications, and cloud services, whilesupporting a growing third-party developer ecosystem. Our platformhandles user authentication, authorization, profiles, and entitlements for millions ofcustomers daily, making it acritical business enabler for Autodesk's success. You'll workwith cutting-edge AWS technologies toarchitectand build scalable, high-performance identity services that setthe foundationforAutodesk's future.
Responsibilities
Work effectivelywithin a self-organized agile teamthat builds, owns, and operates productionservices
Lead and contribute to all aspects of service development, includingfront-end, back-end, DevOps, and quality assurance
Participate in and improveservice operations including monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with architects and product managementto understand requirements and deliver elegant, scalable implementations
Identify and drive continuous improvements to system scalability, reliability, usability, and security based on productionbehavior
Debug and resolvecomplex technical issues spanningmultiple system components
Actas an advocate for the service within theorganization, helping product teams withintegration and adoption
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
5+ yearsof experience building cloud-native RESTful web services and applications
Expert-level proficiency in Go, C#, orJava
Strong experience with bothrelational and non-relational datastores
Proven track record of building high-performance, highlyavailable servicesat internet scale
Solid understanding of software design patterns and architecturalprinciples
Strong commitment to codequality, security, and performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to quicklylearn new languages, tools, and design patterns
Problem-solving mindset with qualitiesincludinginnovation, adaptability, inclusiveness, accountability, and pragmatism
Preferred Qualifications
Experience withOIDC, OAuth2, and related API authorization protocols
Hands-on experience with agile developmentmethodologies
Experience with AWS servicesand containertechnologies(Docker, Kubernetes)
Front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experiencementoring junior engineers and leadingtechnical initiatives
