Position Overview

In this role, the focus will be on promoting a Platform First philosophy, fostering the development of a platform that is cohesive, API-accessible, and ensures a uniform user experience. Furthermore, the role involves assisting in ensuring the Platform yields significant insights into customer product interactions, potentially leading to new revenue opportunities and customized user experiences.

In the team that you will be working with, you will be helping to own and build a Licensing platform that has direct and positive impact to millions of Autodesk customers. When any of Autodesk's customer Try, Buy or Access any of our products (e.g. AutoCAD, Maya, Fusion 360 and many more) and services (e.g. Autodesk Support, etc.), their licensing experience will be powered by the platform that you build.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available and scalable platform using AWS services

• Design and build appropriate observability (monitoring, tracking, logging, alerting) solutions from an operational excellence standpoint

• Prior experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications. Experience with serverless approach like AWS Lamda is an added advantage

• Good to have Knowledge of using Terraform

• Key responsibilities include Design, build and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable code

• Develop solutions that are portable across platforms

• Apply continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, resulting in a straightforward solution and reducing complexity

• Write test automation and help your team to deliver frequent incremental releases using CI/CD pipeline

• Help promote and drive sound engineering design, process and quality practices

• Having experience using Datadog monitoring tool can be an added advantage

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management

• Strong communication, and technical writing skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively through an agile development process that promotes constant team communication

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Experience with Docker and Terraform is a must
