Senior Software Consultant

Responsibilities:

a. To Manage and develop Projects/Change Requests related changes and to ensure deliverables are in good quality
b. To develop functionalities to cater for business requirements using Unix/PLSQL
c. To manage and guide the team in Technical design
d. To carry out Unit testing and SIT on the developed functions
e. To support UAT cycle, troubleshoot the issues, fix fixes and also guide team to resolve complex issues
f. To migrate deliverables objects using Aldon migration tools to UAT/Production environment
g. To guide team in preparation proper documentation for all the deliverables
h. To ensure the design & build is in line with the standard and all deviations are clearly articulated and agreed. The scope should be from sourcing from upstream till the final report generation
i. Review the code to ensure it does not break / Lead to performance issue
j. Prepare necessary documents to facilitate and deliver the project (Release checklist, UAT results, etc.)
k. To carry out Devops implementation using Jenkins

Requirements:

a) Good understanding in SDLC phases
b) Working experience of CRS reporting
c) Managing the team of developers
d) Work experience as a .NET developer and proficiency in building web-based applications
e) Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
f) Work experience in developing web services and REST API
g) To come up with technical solution based on user requirement
h) Expert in MS SQL Server and should be able to write sql queries
i) Expert in Performance fine tuning of queries
j) Good knowledge on SSIS & SSRS - ETL transformation & Reporting purposes
k) Be adaptable, flexible and be able to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced of a growing organization/environment
l) Experience with project management.
m) Expert with Batch & Power Shell scripting
n) Good understanding in Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts. Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

MSSQL, .NET, Microsoft, Jenkins, ETL
