Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team where you'll play a critical role in facilitating group and casework interventions, fostering community development, and supporting both clients and staff in achieving sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct group work sessions and develop intervention plans.
  2. Supervise and evaluate group work interventions for effectiveness across the organization.
  3. Perform comprehensive casework for clients and families, including intake assessments for complex cases.
  4. Implement and monitor case and care plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  5. Develop and execute community development initiatives, evaluating their impact.
  6. Mobilize community resources and lead community needs assessments.
  7. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and professionals across disciplines.
  8. Support staff in professional development and self-care efforts.
  9. Organize crisis management teams in collaboration with partner organizations.
  10. Design and conduct research related to practice issues under supervision.
  11. Review and implement models of care aligned with evidence-based practices.
  12. Conduct audits in line with the organization's framework and standards.
  13. Identify service gaps and manage the development and implementation of targeted programs.
  14. Evaluate the success of programs and interventions.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Social Work or a Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in social work practices.
  3. Registration as a Social Worker with the appropriate professional body is preferred.
  4. Strong interpersonal and people-oriented skills.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  7. Flexibility and creativity in developing alternative solutions.
  8. A committed, positive attitude with effective report-writing skills.
  9. Ability to work well in a team environment.
