We are hiring a Principal Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform, and prior experience in Crypto, Web3, or High-Frequency Trading (HFT) environments. This role reports to the Director.
We are open to either a Singapore-based hire, who will be required to work five days a week in the office, or a remote arrangement, subject to alignment with Singapore working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Own Platform Reliability
- Drive end-to-end reliability, from architecture and design through production deployment.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and built to operate under high-availability requirements.
Elevate Engineering Practices
- Partner closely with software engineers to promote SRE best practices.
- Continuously refine and mature engineering workflows and operational processes.
Build & Operate Core Infrastructure
- Design, operate, and optimize multiple Kubernetes clusters across environments.
- Develop and maintain foundational infrastructure services that power the platform.
Operational Excellence & Incident Management
- Lead response to production incidents, minimizing disruption and improving system resilience over time.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and post-incident improvements.
Grow & Lead the Infrastructure Team
- Help scale a high-impact infrastructure engineering team.
- Foster a culture of ownership, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Strong SRE Background
- Extensive experience in site reliability engineering within distributed, multi-datacenter cloud environments.
- Proven ability to support systems with strict uptime, performance, and security requirements.
Hands-On Technical Depth
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and modern software engineering practices.
- Comfortable evaluating and integrating both open-source and commercial tooling.
Leadership & Influence
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders on prioritization and resource planning.
Advanced Infrastructure Experience
- Background in low-latency systems, cloud infrastructure, HashiCorp tooling, and multi-cloud setups.
Security-First Mindset
- Strong knowledge of securing complex cloud and network architectures.
