Job Summary
Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure construction activities meet safety and quality standards. Manage resources, schedules, and subcontractors to deliver projects efficiently and resolve technical challenges on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations
- Review and prepare detailed method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities
- Control and manage site resources including progress tracking, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment
- Execute construction works according to drawings and specifications to meet quality standards
- Plan construction schedules and coordinate subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow
- Conduct regular site inspections and assess subcontractors work performance for quality assurance
- Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues arising during construction to minimize delays
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings with detailed understanding
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 clauses and audit procedures to support quality management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience
