Job Summary
Manage and oversee construction projects in Singapore, ensuring site operations, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth project execution
- Plan, monitor, and adjust project schedules to meet timelines and milestones
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align project goals
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
- Enforce workplace safety and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe site environment
- Review, coordinate, and approve shop drawings and as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare detailed site reports and maintain project documentation for transparency and tracking
- Identify and resolve technical issues on-site promptly to avoid delays and maintain quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience
- Proven experience in site supervision and project coordination
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in Singapore construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and coordinating drawings
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
- Ability to manage subcontractors and lead site workforce
- Good understanding of safety and quality standards
- Good command of English (spoken and written) for effective communication
