Job Description

  • Supervise, lead, and manage the Service Team to ensure efficient and high-quality service.

  • Keep all the systems installed in Asia at the agreed level of efficiency.

  • To oversee routine maintenances and repair tasks in accordance to maintenance instructions/procedures.

  • Take responsibility to maintain all the tools, test equipment, test jigs required for Service team usage.

  • Meet the Service Level for both Preventive Maintenances and Corrective Maintenances Tasks.

  • Take control of local inventory and generate weekly report on usage/top up.

  • Participate in new machine installation, commissioning, buy off and reports.

  • Participate in data analysis on new and old failure on system.

  • Interface with customer and manage organization independently.

  • Interface with EDAI's Service Department for all technical matters including those concerns within EDA Asia.

  • Oversee the Service Team.

  • Liaise and communicate with customer to provide Service weekly report.

  • Publish weekly report and other related reports as per request.

  • Perform any job assigned from time to time by the Management.

    Qualifications/ Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field).

    • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant service engineering experience in a semiconductor industry.

    • Strong technical knowledge of relevant equipment, systems, and technologies.

    • Experience working in a regional or multinational environment is an advantage.

    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Strong leadership, supervisory, and mentoring capabilities.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments effectively.

    • Willingness to travel as required.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
