Editorial Board Members for The Open Bioinformatics Journal
About the Company: Bentham Science Publishers is an established publisher of science, technology, and medical journals. With a fleet of over 160 journals indexed in all reputed indexes, we are looking for experienced researchers and scientists to join the Editorial Boards of our journals.
We are currently seeking Editorial Board Members for The Open Bioinformatics Journal. The Open Bioinformatics Journal is an open-access journal that publishes research articles, reviews/mini-reviews, letters, clinical trial studies and guest-edited single-topic issues in all areas of bioinformatics and computational biology. The coverage includes biomedicine, focusing on large data acquisition, analysis and curation, computational and statistical methods for the modeling and analysis of biological data, and descriptions of new algorithms and databases. The Open Bioinformatics Journal, a peer-reviewed journal, is an important and reliable source of current information on the developments in the field. Emphasis is placed on publishing quality papers, making them freely available to researchers worldwide. The Open Bioinformatics Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering all aspects of bioinformatics.
About the Role: We are seeking experienced researchers and scientists to join us as Editorial Board Members for the journal, The Open Bioinformatics Journal. Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal by providing valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insights and suggestions to the Editor-in-chief and the Publishing Team for improving the journal.
- Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic.
- Review articles submitted to the journal (according to your availability) in your area of expertise.
Qualifications:
- Scientist or researcher (PhD) with experience in Bioinformatics in computational analysis, genomic data interpretation, algorithm development, and bioinformatics research.
- At least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers.
- Verifiable record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders in the English language.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Bioinformatics.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in computational analysis, genomic data interpretation, and algorithm development.
