Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP SD Subject Matter Expert (SME) with mining industry experience to support a major SAP implementation and transformation program in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) along with strong knowledge of mining industry sales processes such as bulk commodity sales, contract management, logistics coordination, and pricing mechanisms. The consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing SAP solutions aligned with mining business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of SAP SD solutions tailored for the mining industry.

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate sales and logistics requirements into SAP solutions.

Configure and support core SAP SD functionalities, including:

Sales order management

Pricing and contract management

Billing and invoicing

Delivery and shipping processes

Support commodity sales processes, long-term sales contracts, and volume-based pricing models.

Integrate SAP SD with Logistics, Transportation, MM, and Finance modules.

Participate in solution architecture discussions and business process improvements.

Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and integrations.

Lead system testing, UAT coordination, and go-live support.

Provide guidance to functional and technical teams as the SAP SD SME.

Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and SAP standards.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of SAP SD consulting experience.

Strong expertise in sales order management, pricing, billing, and contract management.

Experience in mining, metals, commodities, or natural resources industries.

Experience supporting complex pricing structures and contract-based sales models.

Strong knowledge of integration with SAP MM, FI, and logistics processes.

Experience participating in SAP implementation or transformation projects.

Ability to work as a Subject Matter Expert and advisor to business stakeholders.
