Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with a maximum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in finance, extensive SAP implementation experience, and the ability to lead end-to-end project lifecycles including design, configuration, testing, and support. The role also involves providing L2/L3 production support, handling enhancements, resolving incidents, and ensuring system stability while driving continuous improvements in SAP FICO processes.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Support
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations (Blueprinting, Realization, Go-live, Hypercare).
- Configure and customize SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, COPA).
- Support rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues.
Business Process & Integration
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP solutions aligned with finance best practices.
- Ensure integration with MM, SD, HR, and other SAP modules.
- Work closely with stakeholders to optimize financial processes.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
Financial & Compliance Expertise
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Experience in month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Knowledge of New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting, and Asset Accounting.
Production Support (L3)
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO modules (FI & CO).
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing support activities.
- Coordinate with AMS, Basis and technical teams for transports and system issues.
S/4HANA Exposure
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects.
- Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Fiori apps.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
- Conduct UAT sessions and user training workshops.
- Create business process documentation and test scripts.
Required Skills
- Maximum of 10 years of SAP FICO experience with experience in AMS/support roles as well.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, New GL
- CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, COPA
- Strong debugging and issue analysis skills (functional level).
- Experience in SLA-driven support environment.
- Good understanding of integration points with MM & SD.
- Experience supporting global clients and multiple company codes.
Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- SAP FICO Certification.
- Exposure to FSCM or Group Reporting is preferred.
- Knowledge of IDocs and interface troubleshooting.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or related field.
