About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Commercial Leader for Southeast Asia, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sale of equipment and services to customers in Singapore.
- Identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers through cold calling, networking, projects/tenders and emails to exceed sales targets.
- Mapping Customers in Singapore to identify competitor replacement and new sales opportunities.
- Contact existing customers for conversion, Installation Base upgrade and selling of services (service contracts & other services).
- Take lead of local marketing promotional activities in close collaboration with local distributors
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge about products and services. Demonstrating product features and benefits and explaining how they meet customer needs.
- Work with distributors to optimize their performance. Ensure that distributors meet their allocated targets. Measure distributor KPI (Key performance Indicators) regularly and proactively.
- Creating quotations, sales proposals, negotiating prices, terms, and closing sales agreements to achieve or exceed targets.
- Develop and engage more KOLs in Singapore, maintain solid KOL network locally
- Work closely with APAC Regulatory team (RA) to ensure the smooth registration of Pentax products in Singapore
- Keep sales funnel updated on regular basis and timely reporting. Utilize SFDC for funnel tracking.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills for rapport building and persuasion.
Top Three Main Qualifications Which Candidates Must Have:
- Sales and marketing experience in the Medical Device Industry, especially experience in Endoscopy would be a big plus.
- Experienced working in Multinational companies.
- Strong communication skills (internal & and external).
- Fluent in English communication.
- Ability to work independently.
