Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Create and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned products (metrology, inspection, solution software) and accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base.
- Help Sales team close key orders and increase penetration at multi-national customers.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Work with marketing communications and product management to develop effective sales materials and promotion strategies.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition.
- Participate in Product Life Cycle process for new offerings for potential volumes, target prices, key specifications and related topics.
- Provide market feedback including the competitor information to headquarters for developing sales and marketing strategies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Travel around 50% to SEA region and India.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical or marketing discipline
- 15 to 20 years Sales experience in metrology and inspection equipment in related industry.
- 5+ years managing sales team
- Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
