What you'll be doing
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated market segments
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing technical expertise and consultative sales support
Understand customer needs and requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific challenges
Collaborate with the wider team to prepare and deliver high-quality sales proposals and presentations
Participate in industry events, conferences and trade shows to expand the company's market presence
Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform the company's strategic direction
Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and processes
What we're looking for
Diploma / Degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial, marine or valves sectors.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial products, systems and applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
