An exciting Senior Sales Engineer has just become available at one of the most established technology leaders in Components solutions. This is a role for someone who has strong commercial and technical experience in precision engineering industry.
About the Senior Sales Engineer role:
In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for the Components business in the Singapore market.
Key Responsibilities:
- To drive new business developments and build key markets strategically and systematically
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, acting as the key link between clients and internal engineering/production teams
- Oversee the full project and production cycle, including quotations, sample builds, FAI/PPAP, engineering changes, quality issue resolution, and support for audits and process improvements.
- Initiate and develop business plans for expansion initiatives, define and drive implementation.
- To drive the sales of the components Business Unit.
To succeed in the Senior Sales Engineer role, you will need strong technical selling and project application experience in the precision engineering/ semiconductor industry.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the relevant industry.
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline
- Well versed in semiconductor, optical, high precision or medical industry.
- Knowledgeable in CNC, machining, tooling or injection moulding.
- Commercially focused with a problem-solving mindset
