Job Description

We are seeking a commercially driven and technically capable Senior Sales Engineer to lead the growth of our semiconductor capital equipment portfolio across Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role focuses on high-value, precision manufacturing equipment sold to semiconductor fabs, advanced packaging providers, and R&D institutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in capital equipment sales, with the ability to understand complex manufacturing needs, communicate value at both engineering and management levels, and drive long-cycle, consultative sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new customer accounts in the semiconductor and advanced electronics sectors.
  • Promote and sell a portfolio of high-precision capital equipment used in wafer-level manufacturing and microfabrication processes.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with process engineers, researchers, and procurement teams.
  • Understand customer technical roadmaps and position solutions that align with their process requirements.
  • Manage complex sales cycles including technical consultations, proposal generation, and price negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with overseas principals and internal technical teams to tailor solutions and coordinate customer demos or evaluations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, technical briefings, and trade shows throughout the region.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales pipeline, forecasts, and market developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales to the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with tools used in wafer dicing, thin wafer processing, laser micromachining, deposition systems, or advanced inspection/metrology is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both engineering and commercial stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who can work independently while coordinating across internal and external teams.
  • Fluent in English regional language skills are a plus.
  • Based in Singapore with availability for regular travel across Southeast Asia and occasional overseas training.
