Workplace Safety Management
- Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS) on-site
- Implement and uphold project and corporate SHMS protocols
- Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks
- Propose and enforce safe work procedures
- Enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures
- Ensure adherence to Company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and standards
- Ensure compliance with Statutory Requirements under MOM and NEA
- Contribute actively to the corporate EHS Committee
- Conduct in-house safety training sessions
- Develop and execute EHS plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities
- Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify and address hazards and risks promptly
- Enforce EHS / OSH regulations at the workplace
- Investigate, manage, report, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accidents or EHS non-compliance incidents
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors
Technical Understanding
- Proficient in the Workplace Safety & Health Act and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to provide practical safety solutions
Other Responsibilities (Organization)
Internal Operations
- Report any site non-conformance to the immediate supervisor
- Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure robust Health and Safety protocols on-site
- Uphold and adhere to standard policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must possess WSHO license and familiarity with safety audits
- Minimum 5 years experiences preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude
