  1. Execute KYC and CDD processes in full compliance with MAS regulations and the Bank's internal AML/KYC policies.

  2. Collaborate with front-line and sales teams to resolve documentation gaps and ensure timely submission of required materials.

  3. Support back-office banking operations, including account management, system record maintenance, and operational controls.

  4. Partner with the IT department to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen risk monitoring indicators, and improve systems related to credit and account operations.

  5. Collect, review, and analyze borrower credit information, covering financial, industry, and country risk.

  6. Conduct periodic credit reviews for loan and treasury portfolios, including corporate lending and treasury exposures.

  7. Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of the Bank's credit policies and overall risk management framework.

  8. Support the optimization and ongoing assessment of expected loss methodologies for credit exposures.

  9. Act as secretariat for the Risk Management Committee, preparing regular risk reports and macroeconomic analysis.

  10. Serve as back-office coordinator for syndicated and bilateral loans, ensuring internal systems, notices, and operations align with credit agreement terms.

  11. Facilitate cross-departmental communication to maintain consistency and compliance across credit, treasury, and operational processes.

  12. Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  1. Possess a well-recognized Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Treasury Management, or a closely related discipline.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with hands-on experience in bank deposits, corporate lending, and corporate banking operations. Hands-on experience in loan accounting or bank accounting operations is highly preferred.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and debt-related financial instruments.
  4. Solid understanding of credit risk management principles, credit risk models, and portfolio monitoring practices.
  5. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence and periodic reports for overseas branches, partner banks, and Head Office.
  6. Experience supporting regional or cross-border markets (including Central and South East Asia, India, or Australia) is an advantage.
  7. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce detailed analytical reports, presentations, and management materials.
  8. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify risks, and support sound credit and risk-related decisions.
  9. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to work effectively in a regulated banking environment.
