Senior Retail Leasing Lead

A leading hospitality firm is seeking a Senior Retail Leasing Lead to join and lead their high-performing leasing team. This role focuses on driving leasing performance across a portfolio of retail malls, managing lease negotiations, and optimising the overall tenant mix to maximise asset value and customer appeal.

Responsibilities

This role oversees the full spectrum of retail leasing activities, including leading a team or mentoring staff in executing leasing strategies, identifying and prospecting potential tenants through market research and networking, and negotiating lease terms for new and renewal leases. The position will manage the finalization of lease agreements and related documentation, conducts market research of real estate trends, and develops datadriven leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants. It also involves liaising with tenants on tenancy matters, reviewing and recommending tenant mix and positioning for new and existing properties, and preparing annual budgets and forecasts for assigned assets.

Requirements

You should hold a Degree or Diploma in Real Estate, Business, or a related discipline, bringing at least 10 years of experience in retail leasing. You have a strong track record in marketing and leasing retail properties, supported by deep knowledge of commercial real estate trends and leasing practices. You demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills and excel at networking and maintaining strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
