We invite applications for a Senior Research Fellow to support pioneering research on the application of pinching antennas in next-generation wireless communications at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of NTU. The role involves designing, modeling, and analyzing innovative antenna-enabled communication systems to improve signal efficiency, channel capacity, and network performance. The successful candidate will conduct theoretical research, collaborate with faculty and researchers in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and contribute to high-impact publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake research and development necessary to achieve the goals of the research project in pinching antennas and NTU's responsibilities.
Preparation of conference and journal papers for publication of project findings.
Collaborate with the colleagues in School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the area of wireless communications.
Participation in all project meetings preparation and presentation of talks, posters and reports to disseminate the results of these studies.
Participation in national and international conferences and workshops to present the results of the project to a wider audience and to learn about current advances in the field.
Any other duties appropriate to the grade as delegated by the Principal Investigator
Job Requirements
PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Knowledge of pinching antennas, wireless communications, and machine learning
Strong analytical, research, and scientific writing skills
Proficiency in Python for modeling and machine learning applications
Effective communication, teamwork, and presentation abilities
Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet research milestones and deadlines
