We have a job opening for a Research Assistant position at the Bio-inspired Robotics and Design Laboratory () at SUTD.
The role:
The Research Assistant (RA) will support fundamental and applied research in dexterous manipulation and grasping by developing novel soft and hybrid mechanisms, actuation, and sensing technologies for next-generation applications in both harsh and delicate environments. We are looking for researchers with a passion for design, innovation, addvanced fabrication approaches and keen to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
. Mechanism design and prototyping for a variety of industrial grasping applications
. Design and run manipulation and grasping experiments in both laboratory environments and real application environments
