We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Relationship Associate, Client Coverage (Vietnam) to join our Global Payments and Trade team. This role is located inSingapore.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Working together with a senior FI relationship manager, this candidate will help to grow and maintain our Vietnamese Bank portfolio. The role includes responsibility for managing a small portfolio of clients.
- In addition, the candidate will be supporting other relationship managers covering our Bank and NBFI clients in South and Southeast Asia.
- Perform sales support activities including market research, drafting marketing materials, response to RFPs/RFIs, response to client enquiries and generation of call reports post meetings.
- Working with the other relationship associates in the team, you will also be required to provide support for ad hoc projects, join regional initiatives and be involved with senior management engagement.
- Develop, track and report on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio.
- Evaluate client needs and ensure sustained client engagement.
- Coordinate with internal business units to research and gather information necessary to track potential sales targets.
- Working with relationship managers, implementation managers, and relevant stakeholders to support all client-related onboarding and/or KYC activities for assigned client portfolio.
- Participate in client meetings and Global Payments & Trade client seminars in the region.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Knowledge of Transaction Banking products and services, especially correspondent banking/clearing services, FX payments, Trade Finance, Cash Management and Liquidity management solutions.
- Candidates with prior experience supporting banks and NBFIs would be ideal.
- Good working knowledge of using data analysis tools such as Swift.com Banking Analytics, Swift Traffic etc.
- Strong experience and familiarity in KYC/AML risk and control process.
- Fluency in Vietnamese is required to support the client segment.
