- Own and manage product testing and certification to meet regulatory standards
- Lead, coordinate, and execute all activities related to agency approvals and compliance, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, and preparing schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plans
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, product safety and EMI/EMC bodies, as well as vendors and suppliers
- Drive the creation, development, and ongoing maintenance of in-house test procedures, test plans, and compliance guidelines aligned with current and evolving regulatory standards
- Review new product designs early in the development process to ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and lead or coordinate root cause analysis for any regulatory non-compliance issues
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Experience with environmental compliance requirements for electrical and electronic equipment (e.g. EU WEEE, RoHS, REACH) is preferred
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development engineering, with exposure to testing, prediction, and assessment, including consumer product safety, EMI/EMC, and RF testing
- Strong working knowledge of product certification and global market access requirements
- Experience analysing test data and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience obtaining certifications and regulatory approvals for consumer electronic products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
