Ambition is looking for a Senior Consultant or above, who are experienced 360‑degree recruiters and a recognised market expert. You will lead by example, confidently owning and delivering the full recruitment lifecycle while setting the standard for best practice, professionalism, and performance.

In this role, you will combine strong commercial outcomes with visible leadership influence - driving repeat business, mentoring others, and reinforcing Ambition's reputation as a market leader.

What Success Looks Like

Your performance and progression will be assessed by:

  1. Consistently meeting or exceeding billing and activity targets
  2. Strong contribution to company culture, including full compliance with our database and active engagement with collaboration tools
  3. Achievement of senior‑level competencies
  4. Ongoing demonstration of Ambition's PRIDE values

What You'll Be Doing

Client Leadership

  • Create, build, and maintain long‑standing client relationships that drive repeat and referral business
  • Demonstrate clear success through the execution of effective new business strategies
  • Play an active role in pitching to potential Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) clients
  • Maintain a strong client portfolio that delivers consistent revenue
  • Progress client relationships towards exclusive and retained recruitment partnerships
  • Provide deep market insight supported by strong subject matter expertise

Candidate Ownership

  • Act as a point of knowledge and reference for candidates, clients, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the candidate community you represent
  • Build long‑term candidate relationships aligned to career progression, not just placements
  • Ensure best‑in‑market candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey

Team and Culture Contribution

  • Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, and delivery standards
  • Participate in the training, coaching, and development of junior Consultants
  • Share market insight, knowledge, and best practice across the business
  • Demonstrate behaviours that earn credibility and respect across the organisation
  • Maintain accurate, organised, and compliant records within Bullhorn
  • Utilise CRM data to build effective distribution and prospect lists

Your Market Expertise

  • Operate as a recognised market expert
  • Maintain up‑to‑date industry, hiring, and talent trends within your market
  • Strengthen Ambition's brand visibility through market engagement and client influence
  • Be trusted internally and externally for insight, guidance, and judgement

What we're looking for

  • Degree or above in any disciplines
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deal with external clients professionally
  • Self-motivated and result driven, with a positive mindset in wanting to succeed
  • Able to think outside the box for creative solutions and challenge the status quo
  • Proven track record in external recruitment is preferred.
