Overview
As an R&D Engineer/ Senior R&D Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving innovation from concept through to production. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams bringing R&D and manufacturing to bring cutting edge ideas to life.
This role welcomes engineers from diverse technical backgrounds - including Electronics, Electrical, Technology Development, Mechanical, and Process Engineering - who are passionate about hands-on experimentation, data driven problem solving, and translating research into scalable solutions.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and role level.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute R&D projects focused on process and device innovation in semiconductor fabrication.
- Plan and perform design of experiments (DOE) to enhance process capability, material reliability, or device yield.
- Conduct data analysis and failure investigations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Process, Integration, Design, and Manufacturing teams for technology validation and transfer.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentation for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to contribute to continuous innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Microelectronics/ Mechanical/ Materials or other related field.
- Min 3 years of experience in semiconductor R&D, process, or device engineering (depending on level).
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process flow, wafer fabrication, or advanced packaging.
- Hands-on experience with metrology and analytical tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
