Role:Senior Quantity Surveyor
Roles & Responsibilities
- Study scope of works, drawings, specifications, Schedule of Price preambles and contract conditions to prepare tender cost estimations.
- Prepare and submit tender documents and respond to clarifications from clients to successfully secure projects.
- Request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for tender/quotation submissions.
- Prepare engineering estimations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and bid documents based on drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Prepare cash flow based on the approved master program and update according to interim payments.
- Liaise with Project Managers and site personnel to gather monthly work-done details for timely progress claims.
- Prepare and submit Progress Claims to clients and follow up to obtain payment certificates promptly.
- Monitor and submit notifications on design changes and variations to clients.
- Seek Engineers instructions on variations and prepare variation cost estimations.
- Prepare variation cost estimations and obtain approvals.
- Monitor variation works and submit interim claims based on approved variation costs.
- Prepare subcontract agreements, Letters of Award, and other contractual documents.
- Issue payment certificates to subcontractors.
- Maintain records of project progress, claims, and payment details.
- Handle any other related or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Minimum8 yearsof relevant working experience.
Key Requirements
- Experience in civil infrastructure projects, including large-scale works.
- Familiarity with project references such asN110andN108.
- CAD experienceis required.
- Exposure toChangi Airportprojects (any terminal).
- Ability to review basic drawings and advise on revisions.
- Experience in tunnelling projects, particularly underPUBorLTA/government agencies.
Work Location
- Primarily based in theAirport / East area, with deployment to different sites depending on project needs.
- Exact work location will be confirmed during the interview.
- No requirement to travel to Tuas South.
