Prepares detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Monitors project budgets and control costs. Tender estimation and costing.
Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation Orders and Final Accounts with Clients.
Reviews progress of all on-going projects and preparation of monthly progress claim submissions to Clients as well as evaluates and prepare Subcontractors claims.
Identify financial risks in projects.
Provide cost advice to project managers and clients.
Undertaking duties/assignments as and when appropriately assigned by the Superior/Head of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience in Tender and Estimating Works.
Able to read and understand Drawings well.
Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating construction projects.
Knowledge of Structural Steel works will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contracts and Sub-contracts.
Strong knowledge of contract forms.
High proficiency with Microsoft office software in Excel and Word.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good negotiation and analytical skills
Can work under pressure.
Working Hours:
5.5-day work week, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:25pm, Sat (Alternate Saturday Off) 8am-1200noon.
