Job Responsibilities
- Lead quantity surveying and commercial activities for large-scale projects
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project budgets based on drawings and project specifications.
- Manage the full tendering process including preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), evaluation of bids, and contractor negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review, evaluate, and certify contractor progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Administer contracts and manage contractual matters including claims, disputes, and commercial risk mitigation.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery within approved budgets.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and support their professional development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within EPC, main contractor, or subcontractor environments.
- Experience supporting projects in Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, or Data Centre sectors will be highly advantageous.
- Strong experience in quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, claims management, and project commercial management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
