Support superior in handling complexity issues, VO, Final accounts, negotiation with sub-con, dispute and contract legal matters.
Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensure completed within the allocated budget.
Equipped with professionalism, to provide support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company's objectives are achieved. Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
Initiative and good at people relationship. Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-tasking and priorities tasks.
Job Responsibilities :
Guide and provide coaching to the Quantity Surveyors in their works
Develop and evaluate cost estimates, assess risks and contract issues to arrive at final cost
Liaise and sourcing of sub-contractors and suppliers
Monitor, track change orders, sub-contractors drawing list and materials delivery
Prepare / verify quantity measurement, costing and estimation for pre and post contract administration
Prepare / verify valuations pricing and agreement of contract variations, process claims and monitor project cash flow
Project administration and documentation including preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions and preparation of final accounts
Evaluation and certification of sub-contractors progress payment
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experiences in the construction industry, LTA project preferred.
Meticulous, independent and able to work within tight deadlines
