SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing and evaluation of quotations for materials and services
• Oversee the preparation of procurement documentation, subcontractor/supplier agreements, and payment recommendations
• Review and validate cost estimates, price comparison and detailed costing summary
• Manage project cost, prepare estimation and carry out quantity measurements
• Prepare forecasting of cashflow, Manage claims, budget & cost control
• Administer and prepare progress claims and variation orders
• Settle final accounts and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain up-to-date records for all project-related correspondence.
• Lead contracts administration and support contract-related processes.
• Advise on and resolve contractual issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience preferably experience in civil/ land reclamation projects
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Familiar of Singapore Standard Forms of Contract.
• Strong organizing and time management skills
• Able to work independently and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a plus
• Able to work in Tuas
