Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive project quantity surveying tasks to support construction projects.
- Attend site surveys, tender briefings, and coordinate clarifications with clients to ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Perform measurement take-offs and source quotations to conduct detailed costing analyses.
- Coordinate purchasing of core project materials such as rebar and concrete, managing logistics to meet site schedules.
- Interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions, including bills of quantities, to project activities.
- Prepare sub-contract agreements and assess claim certificates and payments to subcontractors.
- Submit monthly progress claims and progress reports to clients, resolving any clarifications promptly.
- Monitor project budgets to ensure construction completion within financial targets.
- Participate in site meetings and progress claim meetings to provide updates and address issues.
- Manage all project administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company objectives.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in Project Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in Civil, Structural Steel, and/or Metal Works quantity surveying.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong communication skills to independently coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
