Responsibilities
- Handle post-contract quantity surveying duties for large-scale construction projects, including contract and sub-contract administration, cost control and budget monitoring.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, including sourcing, evaluating quotations, negotiating and preparing letters of award.
- Review and process subcontractor payments, progress claims and final accounts.
- Prepare, evaluate and manage variation orders and ensure proper cost and contractual documentation.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow, and provide timely cost reports.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, clients and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building/Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in MRT/LTA construction projects.
- Experience in post-contract administration, subcontractor management, cost control, progress claims and variation orders.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and subcontract administration.
