Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all financial aspects of projects to ensure works remain within budget.

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Carry out quantity take-offs and measurement works.

• Prepare monthly main claims and variation orders for submission to consultants.

• Prepare monthly subcontractor payment certificates, variation orders, and final account settlements.

• Assist in project budget management, cost control, and post-contract administration for both main contracts and subcontracts.

• Liaise and maintain good working relationships with project teams, consultants, clients, architects, developers, contractors, and suppliers.

• Support sourcing of cost-effective and suitable materials across various project stages.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years M&E Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.

• Experience handling tendering for large-scale building projects is an advantage.

• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
