Job Description:
. Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.
. Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
. Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.
. Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
. Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
. Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
. Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.
. Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
Requirements:
. Minimum Diploma/ Degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
. Minimum 5 years and above M&E QS work experience in the Construction industry
. Experience in handing tendering large scale building project would be advantageous
. Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends
. Independent with excellent problem-solving skills, detailed and a good team player
. Salary package commensurate with experience.
