Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements
• Administer contracts in accordance with project requirements and company policies
• Manage contract lifecycle from tender stage through project completion
• Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
• Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, legal advisors, and clients
• Develop, implement, and monitor systems for QS, contract, and cost management.
• Review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost/charging concerns.
• Resolve issues encountered by the QS/project team, including client and subcontractor cost and contractual matters.
• Take ownership of project cost and contractual settlements.
• Handle claims, variations, extensions of time and dispute resolution
• Maintain proper documentation and contract records

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction contract management, especially in HDB project.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS, FIDIC etc - as applicable)
• Experience handling claims, variations, and contractual disputes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
