Overview
We are looking for Senior/Quantity Surveyor to prepare quantity take-offs, tender submissions, manage project costs and coordinate with production, design, and site teams within a precast manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-construction & Tender Support
- Perform quantity take-off and prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quotations for precast components (e.g., walls, slabs, beams, columns, staircases).
- Review project drawingsand specifications to identify precast scope.
- Perform material take-offs (MTO) based on structural and shop drawings.
- Support in preparing tender documentation and cost breakdowns.
2. Project Cost Control
- Assist in preparing and updating project cost budgets.
- Monitor and track production costs, material usage, and delivery costs.
- Collect and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations for comparison.
3. Contract Administration
- Support in preparing progress claims to clients and verifying subcontractor claims.
- Maintain contract records, variations, and documentation.
- Assist in identifying, preparing, and submitting VOs (Variation Orders).
4. Coordination With Internal Departments
- Work closely with:
- Engineering/Design team for drawing updates and quantity revisions.
- Production team for tracking precast element production volume.
- Site team for delivery scheduling, installation progress, and measurement verification.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly cost and progress reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and project tracking.
- Assist in updating project cash flow forecasts.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in construction or precast/IBS industry. QSes with 1-2 years of experience / fresh graduates are welcome for the junior position.

- Precast elements and terminology
- Contract administration
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and measurement software (e.g., Bluebeam). Experience in BIM software for quantity take off purposes is a plus.
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with contract law and construction contracts.
