Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Perform tender submission, quantity take-off and prepare quotation
• To source for suppliers and sub-contractors for the preparation of quotations for tender submissions and awarded projects
• To prepare shop drawings for approval
• To prepare monthly progress claims for submission to customers
• To assess subcontractor's claims and prepare payment certificates
• To prepare daily job orders and issue P.O for factory fabrication
• To conduct site inspection for verification of subcontractor's claim
• To coordinate with Factory and customers on delivery and installation works.
• To perform ISO administrative documentation and participate in the internal audit.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by immediate supervisor

Job requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in the local industry
• Preferably possess experience in Aluminum works
• Able to use Advance Excel application for costing and budgeting
• Able to interpret construction drawings/ technical specifications.
• Experienced in AutoCAD software
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
