Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities for EPC / construction projects from pre-contract stage through project completion.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, tender documents, and subcontract packages.
• Manage subcontractor tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award,and contract administration.
• Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders,contractual claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, cash flow, and cost forecasts.
• Prepare regular commercial and cost-control reports for management.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and support the project team in managing claims and variations.
• Review subcontractor and supplier claims and verify payments against contractual terms and actual work progress.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, andinternal project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Lead project close-out activities, including settlement of variations,claims, and final accounts

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications or relevant QS certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a main contractor, QS consultancy, or construction/EPC environment.
• Experience in cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, Oil & Gas, building, or EPC projects is preferred

• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to protect project cost and profitability.
