Key Duties & Responsibilities
- QMS Architecture: Define, implement, and maintain advanced manufacturing quality standards, standard operating procedures, and site control guidelines.
- Hardware Validation: Oversee technical methodologies for inspecting, testing, and verifying the physical precision, structural tolerances, and long-term reliability of integrated systems.
- Expansion Change Management: Drive end-to-end customer change notifications, technology transfers, and line-qualification procedures across regional production sites.
- Technical Authority: Serve as the final sign-off authority for product acceptance testing protocols, material dispositions (MRB), and technical quality documentation.
- Audit & CAPA Governance: Direct systemic internal and supplier process audits, leading cross-functional teams to execute rapid root-cause analysis and preventive action closures.
- HSE Risk Management: Champion workplace safety compliance. Oversee operational hazard identification, implement risk mitigation plans, and lead incident investigations.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with engineering divisions to deploy continuous improvement programs aimed at minimizing waste, increasing throughput, and reducing operational deficiencies.
- People Leadership: Direct, recruit, and upskill a high-performing department of technical specialists and quality professionals.
Core Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical manufacturing discipline.
- Seniority: Minimum 10 years of industrial engineering or quality experience within a production facility, with at least 5 years in a dedicated team leadership/management role.
- Environment: Deep operational competency within a High-Mix, Low-Volume (HMLV) manufacturing framework. Exposure to high-complexity electro-mechanical capital equipment, specialized diagnostic tooling, or advanced automation systems is essential.
- Engineering Tool Stack: Advanced mastery of structured problem-solving toolkits, including 8D, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gauge R&R, and APQP/PPAP cycles.
- Stakeholder Management: Elite communication, technical writing, and diplomacy skills, with a proven track record interfacing directly with corporate clients during rigorous compliance reviews.
