Summary:
Leads the QA function by ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing audits and quality metrics, and supporting cross-functional teams to enhance product, process, and customer quality. Responsible for fostering a strong quality culture and leading the QA team to achieve business objectives.
This position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring the management of multiple priorities, deadlines, customer concerns, audits, and quality-related issues. Occasional exposure to manufacturing and production areas may be required. The role involves regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders and may involve periods of increased workload and pressure associated with audits, customer requirements, and business-critical quality matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs, policies, procedures, and methods to establish, monitor, and continuously improve product, material, process, and operational quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality-focused programs that promote employee engagement, quality awareness, and operational excellence across the organization.
- Responsible for all quality-related matters, including customer quality issues, internal quality concerns, investigations, audits, customer visits, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Plan, conduct, and support internal, customer, and external audits, ensuring compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve Engineering Change Notifications, Engineering Requests, and Process Change Notifications; participate in Yield Teams and other cross-functional improvement activities.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor of Engineering or any other related fields
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience and 5 years in Quality Management role
- Working knowledge & auditing experience of all quality system elements including IATF 16949 knowledge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Proficiency in FMEA, OCAP, Control plan and SPC
- Problem analyzing and solving using statistical methodology
- Project management skills
