We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Quality Assurance Executive to join our growing team. You must be someone who thrives in a fast-paced food operations and production environment and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
You will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and food safety processes across our restaurants, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Job Description:
Conduct random quality inspections on raw materials and semi-processed food items to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Perform sensory evaluations on new and existing finished products at outlets to verify consistency with quality standards
Work closely with Procurement and Exec. Chef to evaluate and qualify new ingredients to support new product/dish launches
Coordinate with Procurement to resolve non-conformance issues for raw materials and follow up on corrective actions
Work closely with Chefs, Outlet Managers, and Outlet In-Charge to maintain and continuously improve existing quality control procedures
Develop, review, and implement food quality procedures, standards, and specifications
Manage food quality related issues collected from customers, lead prompt investigations, and ensure effective resolution of non-conformities
Establish and implement initiatives to drive quality assurance, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement
Liaise with Chefs on R&D activities, including developing new dishes and menus for festive seasons and special promotions
Prepare and standardise SOPs, recipes, and training videos for new products and menu items
Conduct cost calculation and food costing analysis for new dishes and festive menus to ensure profitability and cost control
Liaise with Central Kitchen team on production processes, recipes, portion control, and quality consistency
Support menu planning by reviewing ingredient sourcing, yield, and pricing impact
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent)
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the related field
Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, GMP and relevant food regulations
Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good problem-solving and multitasking skills
Preferably able to start work immediately or within short notice
