Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project's QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
- Conduct material inspections, method statement reviews, and ensure all works meet project specifications and QP/RTO requirements.
- Prepare and carry out Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and quality-related forms.
- Perform site inspections together with the consultant, client representatives, and subcontractors.
- Ensure construction activities comply with BCA, MOM, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Site & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Safety team, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
- Assist in resolving technical and quality-related issues on site.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), CAR (Corrective Action Reports), and follow up on closure.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, quality checks, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management and client review.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement quality control training for site teams and subcontractors.
- Recommend improvement measures to enhance construction quality and prevent recurring issues.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years QA/QC experience in the construction industry (main contractors preferred).
- Strong knowledge of BCA standards, CONQUAS, Quality Mark, and Singapore construction codes.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, inspection procedures, and material quality requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with site and project teams.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple inspections and submissions.
