Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee commercial building operations to ensure compliance, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction while supporting emergency and event needs in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead coordination of tenant fit-outs, unit handovers, and reinstatement works to ensure compliance with building guidelines and standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes and schedules to optimize building performance and longevity
- Monitor and ensure building operations adhere to statutory requirements, regulations, and by-laws to maintain legal compliance
- Support event set-up and operational requirements to facilitate smooth execution of activities within the building
- Conduct regular building inspections and surveys to identify repair, renewal, or replacement needs and recommend appropriate actions
- Manage manpower deployment effectively to provide operational support and maintain service levels
- Oversee inventory control and procurement processes for maintenance parts and materials to ensure availability and cost efficiency
- Assist in preparing tender documents and technical specifications for mechanical, electrical, and building works to support procurement and project execution
- Respond promptly to emergency calls after office hours to address urgent building issues and minimize disruption
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Building Manager or Management to support overall building operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Min. Diploma or Degree in Property, Facilities, Building Services, Engineering, or related fields
- Min 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in commercial building property or facilities management
- Proven ability to coordinate contractors, vendors, and tenant works to achieve project goals
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills applied in building operations contexts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support reporting and documentation
