Senior / Project Site Supervisor ( Data Center / Thermal Management)

This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who is well organized and can manage time effectively. The role requires the talent to perform the following duties:

Site Supervision and Coordination

. Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.

. Coordinate with Project Engineer and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of work on site.

. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of work and identify potential issues.

Communication and Reporting

. Maintain effective communication with the Project Engineer, customer representatives, and subcontractors.

. Provide regular updates on site progress, issues, and concerns to the Project Engineer.

. Assist the Project Engineer in preparing progress reports and other project documentation.

Safety and Compliance

. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site safety policies, and customer safety requirements.

. Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks for site personnel.

. Report any safety incidents or concerns to the Project Engineer and relevant parties.

Material and Equipment Management

. Assist the Project Engineer in tracking and managing materials and equipment on site.

. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment to prevent damage or loss.

. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Quality Assurance and Control

. Assist the Project Engineer in implementing quality control measures and ensuring that all work is performed according to established standards.

. Conduct site inspections and tests to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

. Assist in managing the testing and commissioning process and ensure proper documentation of test results and customer acceptance.

Site Closure and Handover

. Coordinate with the Project Engineer and other stakeholders in completing the project handover process.

. Assist in conducting site walkthroughs with customer representatives and addressing any outstanding issues.

. Participate in the Project Closure Meeting to review lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in future projects.

Requirement

• A minimum of 3 years experience as below is required:

• Maintenance & field support with relevance to industrial ACMV refrigerant systems

Other requirements:

• Higher NITEC in Control/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.

• Strong planning, coordination & reporting skills.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, specifically thermodynamics & fluid mechanics an added advantage.

• Prior experience working in data center an added advantage.

• Prior experience in customer engagement.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.

• Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking, and reasoning, with an attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.

• Must be flexible and able to respond to service calls for criticalissues during, and beyond, working hours.

Qualification:

• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry - WSHM-CI, formerly BCSS.

• WSQ Manage Work at Height Course (MWAH).

• Possession of a Class 3 license is a must.

Residency Requirement:

• The candidate must be based in Singapore, as this role requires 24/7 standby availability.
