Job Description

Our client is an SME construction company (subcon). They are looking for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor urgently.

【Responsibilities】
- Prepare cost estimates and budget proposals for new tenders and projects.
- Develop, review, and ensure compliance with tendering and contract policies in line with industry best practices.
- Liaise and negotiate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project requirements and costing matters.
- Collaborate closely with the tender team to support timely and accurate tender submissions.
- Evaluate quotations and manage variation orders (VO), including escalation claims, abortive works, quantity take-offs, and final account settlement.

【Scope of Work】
- Conduct estimation and quantity take-offs
- Source quotations and prepare detailed cost comparisons
- Prepare cost breakdowns and rationalize rates
- Compile and submit tender documentation
- Maintain and update cost data library
- Handle contract administration
- Prepare and submit progress claims
- Manage variation order documentation
- Prepare and finalize project accounts

Requirement

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of Project Quantity Surveyor experience with prior cost estimation experience in a M&E construction environment.
- Well-versed in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at the designated MRT station.

(Advantageous)
- Preferably able to use BIM software like Revit/Cubicost.
