Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage projects from kick-off to successful commissioning.

• Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Develop detailed project plans, including work scope, schedule, materials, and system requirements.

• Manage project teams, vendors, and contractors to achieve all project milestones and deliverables.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies for timely execution.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Work closely with senior management, clients, and business development teams to confirm project deliverables and expectations.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, managing stakeholder communication and ensuring transparency.

• Lead negotiations for project contracts, variation orders, and scope changes.

• Conduct progress meetings and maintain seamless communication across all project phases.

Technical Execution & Quality Control

• Oversee system testing, commissioning, and project handover to clients.

• Manage and enforce quality control, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry best practices.

• Ensure all documentation is completed progressively and properly handled at project closure.

• Conduct training sessions for end users.

Process Improvement & Team Development

• Collaborate with the Product Development Team to enhance products and engineering processes based on project learnings.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

• Mentor and develop junior project managers, guiding them in project execution and best practices.

Strategic & Business Alignment

• Work with senior leadership to align project execution with business strategy and growth objectives.

• Contribute to the organization's overall project management framework, implementing best practices and lessons learned.

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and execution efficiency.

Key Candidate Requirements (Summary - 10 Points)

1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / ACMV or related field)

2. Minimum 4-6 years of project management experience

3. Experience in data centres, HVAC/ACMV, or thermal cooling systems

4. Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery

5. Strong leadership skills in managing teams, vendors, and contractors

6. Ability to manage clients, stakeholders, and project negotiations

7. Solid understanding of data centre environments and cooling systems

8. Competent in project planning, risk management, and commissioning processes

9. Strong communication skills, with a proactive and responsible working attitude

10. Willing to travel across ASEAN and adaptable to project requirements
